thought catalog: how to love your family
Stay in a big house together and be committed to cultivating your love for one another. Let it grow and don’t disrupt it. Be on the same page about wanting to care for each other. Take deep breaths when you feel the familiar rage rise up inside of you. Don’t let it out. The rage can come in but it can’t come out.
Loving your family is also about hating your family. The two are inextricably linked. You can see that now. You can’t love a group of people that much without some hate bleeding into it. Just don’t let it bleed over too much and always remember this: Nobody’s going to love you like they do.

for all beauty inquiries!
To all the ladies in the place, with the style and grace (stole this), here’s a collection of beauty tips from some magazine article that I had taken a picture of last summer. I think it’s from Glamour? I decided to share this and have it typed out for records purposes. Enjoy!
- Eggs: Specifically the protein in egg whites tightens pores, reduces puffy eyes, and soothes irritated skin.
- Strawberries: They contain an antioxidant that protects skin against UV rays.
- Blackberries: Helps body produce collagen, which helps with smooth, supple skin. High in antioxidants, which combats signs of aging.
- Kiwi: Reduces wrinkles and dark circles.
- Avocados: Keeps cholesterol low. Vitamins C and E hydrate the skin.
- Asparagus: Eat once a week, and goodbye to skin dryness, chapping, and flaking. (Vitamin B!)
- Oily fish: Examples) salmon, tuna - keep pores clear and skin moisturized and plump because of omega-3 acids.
- Dark chocolate: Smooth skin and sun protection!
- Pumpkin seeds: Its zinc helps repair damaged skin. Have a handful a day.
—> Personal goals: 1) Buy some pumpkin seeds, kiwis, avocados, and eggs for Delaware. 2) .. figure out how to incorporate in meals/ figure out how to make meals.
